Meet Kaitlyn and Anjelika, our summer 2019 interns who are trading in their beach chairs and sunscreen for office chairs and (lots of) Starbucks.
KAITLYN RUBINO
SOCIAL MEDIA + MARKETING INTERN
Kaitlyn Rubino is a senior at the University of Connecticut, originally from Oxford, Connecticut. Next May she will be receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. She began her college career at Southern Connecticut State University, but transferred to UConn her sophomore year as she aspired to join their prestigious School of Business. Kaitlyn is a marketing major because she has a fascination with consumer psychology and has taken a recent interest in how social media can have an additional impact. Although she is not sure what the future holds, Kaitlyn dreams of eventually moving to Boston and working in Social Media Marketing or PR. She is very excited to work alongside and learn from the East of Ellie, an events co. team in the coming months.

- Is a Victoria’s Secret PINK Campus Representative at UConn.
- Has a 6 year old golden retriever named… wait for it… Ellie!
- Was a dancer for 12 years.
- Is a shameless lover of “The Bachelor” franchise. Sorry, not sorry.
ANJELIKA SERVETAS
EVENT PLANNING INTERN
Recognize her? She’s back! Anjelika interned with East of Ellie, an events co. this past winter leading up to her semester abroad and fell in love with the company and internship. She is so excited to be back with the East of Ellie, an events co. team and to continue learning everything there is to know about event planning.
Entering her senior year at the College of Charleston this fall, Anjelika is now confident that she wants to pursue a career in event planning world post graduation. You’ll always find her scoping out new ideas on Pinterest & Instagram for future event inspiration and for when she hosts family and friends. When in the office, she loves supporting project management, searching for new venue spaces and sourcing branded products.

- Dreams of going skydiving in New Zealand.
- Loves the ocean + everything in it.
- Has been mistaken for her doppleganger on a TV commercial.
- Has a twin brother and is a full foot shorter than him.
