We know you’ve seen our newsworthy event for bareMinerals held at Studio 525 in New York City, so now we’re breaking it down on how to customize your own version at home.

DINING + SERVEWARE

For our event, we selected teal blue chargers topped with rippling iridescent glass salad plates resembling seashells to reflect the seascape projected onto the wall in the dining room. Layering these textured Glass Dinner Plate with a Sea Blue Glass Dessert Plate from Bed Bath & Beyond from and adding Modern Wine Glass from CB2 will give your tablescape the same calming effect.

FURNITURE

We chose simple white chairs and stone-colored tables as a backdrop for our tabletop design, to maintain a focal-point on the tablescape florals, and place settings.  It may be an aggressive move to purchase new furniture for your event, but we won’t judge you for it. Check out this White Stackable Side Chair from Hayneedle and the Wood Dining Table from Wayfair.

FLORAL

Our floral arrangements included white freesias, blush and white peonies and sprigs of eucalyptus, adding a fresh, clean scent to the space. The bud vases were displayed not only among the tabletop decor but throughout the entire venue. PRO TIPS

Here are some additional pointers to elevate your design:

1. Have a lot to say? Throwing a label on the glass bud vases was a quick fix for us.
2. Utilizing upholstered chairs will add coziness to your dinner soirée in this otherwise cool-toned palette.
3. We added a level of sustainability with seed paper place cards.
4. Check-in with your local florist to ensure your preferred florals are in season.
